If you are a QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale User, you may have already received the CRITICAL NOTICE that the Software and Payments will be discontinued on 10/3/23.
While existing customers can still purchase additional users on existing licenses and hardware for QuickBooks Point of Sale, this will end at the date of discontinuance.
Intuit will no longer support QuickBooks Desktop POS after the date of discontinuance. This means that you will no longer receive security patch updates, and Payments and Connected Services will be discontinued.
The discontinuation of QuickBooks Desktop 2020 is approaching. After May 31, 2023, all 2020 versions, including Pro, Premier, and Enterprise Solutions, will no longer be supported.
To ensure uninterrupted access to essential features like updates, security patches, support, payroll, and merchant services, **please take action before the deadline**.
Failure to take action will result in the loss of updates, security patches, and support.
